Services

Menu Our items → Services.

The service is the “parent” offering (FR/EN texts, presentation image), attached to a category.
Price, duration, unit of measure, and staff are set mainly at the sub-service level.

FR / EN description and “In Site Web”

The service has a description in French and in English.

Condition Display
In Site Web enabled FR / EN texts are used on the showcase website (depending on visitor language)
In Site Web disabled This service is not shown on the site

Same principle for each sub-service.

Structure rules

Rule Detail
Category required Each service must belong to a service category.
Min. 1 sub-service To be shown on the site and usable correctly in invoicing, the service must have at least one sub-service (price, duration, unit of measure, staff…).
Without sub-service The service can exist in admin, but will not be offered correctly for sale / on the showcase until an active sub-service is created.

Image on the showcase site

A service has a main image.
It appears on the showcase website (services pages) when the service is marked In Site Web.

(A gallery / extra media may exist depending on the record — the main image is the one featured on the site.)

Archive

You can archive a service to remove it from day-to-day use (site / new sales), without deleting history.

Rule Explanation
Active sub-services In practice, you must first archive the sub-services before archiving the service.
Site display Archiving removes display on the site.
Unarchive Only possible if the category itself is not archived.

Delete

A service can only be deleted if none of its sub-services appears on an invoice.

Situation Behaviour
Sub-service already invoiced Deletion refused
No linked invoice Deletion possible (often soft-delete + associated sub-services)

Archive remains the recommended path when sales history must be kept.

  • I archive a service after its sub-services.
  • I cannot delete a service already present via a sub-service on an invoice.
  • I use filters (category, website, without sub-service, image…).
