Sub-services

Menu Our items → sub-services (service variants).

Sellable and bookable level: price, duration, unit of measure, staff, invoicing, site display, archive, galleries.

Belonging to a service

Rule Detail
Service required Each sub-service must belong to a parent service.
Service → category The service itself is in a category (see Services).

FR / EN description and “In Site Web”

As for services, the sub-service has a description in French and in English.

Condition Display
In Site Web enabled (visible on the site) FR / EN texts (and the offering) are used on the showcase according to visitor language
In Site Web disabled Not shown on the site (may remain usable in admin depending on other rules)

Same logic for the parent service: FR/EN description shown on the site only if the service is active In Site Web.

Displayed, bookable, archived

Concept Meaning
In Site Web / Displayed Visible on the showcase (if the services page is active).
Bookable online Can be chosen for an appointment on the site.
Archived No longer offered for sale / on the site; history remains.
Situation after archive Behaviour
Website No longer appears.
New invoice No longer appears in choices.
Past invoices / appointments Kept.

Excel import (several sub-services at once)

To fill a store catalogue quickly:

  1. Export the Excel template from the sub-services list.
  2. Complete the file (FR/EN names, price, duration, etc.).
  3. Import: EliaFlow can create / match in chain:
Column / level Effect
Service category (FR/EN) Created or matched
Service (FR/EN) Created or matched in the category
Sub-service (FR/EN) + price, duration, unit… Created or updated (depending on import rules)

So you import several sub-services, and if needed services and categories, directly from this screen — ideal for provisioning a store.

Images: not via the Excel file

Images (photo / video files) are not bulk-imported in Excel.
You must add them per service or per sub-service individually in the admin (upload on the record).

The template may mention text paths, but real media upload is done record by record.

Image / video galleries (website)

On the sub-service record, you manage galleries specific to the showcase:

Gallery Use
Image gallery Sub-service photos for the site
Video gallery Associated videos for the site

Customer images linked to this sub-service

In the same gallery context, you also find customer images that used this sub-service.

You can choose to publish them or not on the site gallery (customer consent + staff publication — see Customer images).

Link with staff (required for booking)

A sub-service must have at least one employee (staff) linked.

Rule Explanation
Minimum 1 staff Needed so the booking system can calculate availability
Who appears Only linked staff are offered for this service in booking / planning
Without staff Impossible to determine available slots correctly

Overview: Our items.

Tags (if module enabled)

When the Tags module is ON, the Visibility & team section also shows a Tags select.

Action How
Attach tags Choose one or more existing tags
Create a tag without leaving the form + button to the right of the select → FR/EN name → tag is created and selected

Details: Tags.

Dropdown lists (select)

On the form (and in modals), opening a select (Service, Tags, Staff, etc.) shows the options list above the rest of the page: it is not clipped by the form card / section. Truncated labels in the closed field are unchanged.

Success criteria

  • Each sub-service is attached to a service.
  • FR/EN description + In Site Web: content appears on the showcase only if enabled.
  • I export the Excel template, complete it, import several sub-services (and categories / services if needed).
  • Images / videos are added record by record, not via Excel.
  • In the sub-service gallery, I see linked customer images and manage Publish.
  • Each bookable sub-service has at least one linked staff member.
  • (Tags module) I link tags or create one via +.
  • After archive, it disappears from new invoices and from the site.
