Our items
Menu group Our items — catalogue of services, products, trainings, promotions, and gift cards depending on enabled modules.
EliaFlow is not limited to clinics: enable what your business needs. See Organisation.
FR / EN descriptions and site display
All item types (categories, services / products / trainings, sub-items, etc.) generally carry French and English texts (name, description…).
These contents appear on the showcase website if the item is configured as visible / displayed on the website.
Otherwise, it remains usable in admin (invoice, etc.) without appearing online.

Required hierarchy
The catalogue is structured in levels. The business rule is the same idea for services and products:
flowchart TB cat[Category] item[Item_service_or_product] sub[Sub_item_price_duration] cat --> item --> sub
| Level | Rule | Services example | Products example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Category | Must contain at least one item | Service category | Product category |
| Item | Must have at least one sub-item | Service | Product |
| Sub-item | Where you set price, and depending on type: duration, unit of measure, product format, stock… | Sub-service | Product variant |
Without a sellable sub-item, the item cannot be invoiced, booked, or added to the cart correctly.
Units of measure and formats
Depending on item type and enabled modules:
| Tool | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Units of measure | E.g. hour, package, unit — often linked to services / sub-services |
| Product formats | Packaging / format — on the products / variants side |
This information feeds catalogue display and sales lines.
Where this information is used
Catalogue prices, durations, units / formats, and texts are used wherever you sell or book:
| Area | Use |
|---|---|
| Invoicing (admin) | Adding lines on an invoice |
| Booking | Choosing the sub-service, duration, availability |
| E-commerce / showcase | Shop pages, services, cart, online order |
One source of truth: the Our items catalogue.
Services and staff — required for booking
For services (sub-services), at least one employee (staff) must be linked to the sub-service.
| Why | |
|---|---|
| Availability | The booking system knows which staff can perform this service and calculates available slots |
| Without linked staff | Impossible to determine availability correctly for booking |
See Sub-services · Staff.
