Unavailabilities

Unavailability ranges (leave, breaks, blocks) are mainly managed as staff events from the Calendar.

Temporary: the Staff → Unavailabilities menu page (/staff-unavailabilities) is hidden (no menu entry, no direct access). Use the appointments calendar to create / edit / delete these events.

These ranges block website booking for the staff concerned, and admin if staff overlap is not allowed.

Events can be recurring; when deleting a series: this occurrence / this and following / future series.

Success criteria

• I create an unavailability from the calendar (staff event).
• That unavailability prevents booking the relevant slot on the website.
