Menu management
Menu Company Settings → Menu management.
Customizes the admin sidebar for this store: menu groups, entries, display order.
Why use it
| Benefit | Example |
|---|---|
| Workflow | Put Invoices / Clients / Calendar first if that is the team’s daily work |
| Readability | Group differently from the default menu (less scrolling, clearer groups) |
| Comfort | Each EliaFlow store sees a menu suited to its business, not a generic menu |
The setting is per store: a restaurant and a clinic under the same owner account do not have to share the same layout.
How it works (simple idea)
- Open Menu management on the relevant store (not from Master).
- Import the current menu or build a new configuration.
- Drag and drop menus between groups; reorder groups and entries.
- Enable Use custom menu, then click Save (otherwise the sidebar stays the default Filament menu).
- If needed: reset to return to the default Filament menu.
Visible only if the Menu management feature is enabled (Module control) and your role has settings rights.
Day-to-day sidebar behaviour
Even without a custom menu, the sidebar:
- collapses other groups when you expand it (minimize → wide), keeping only the current page’s group open;
- shows the pin star just after the page title.
Overview: Organization — custom admin menu.
Success criteria
- I save a custom menu on a store and see the new order in the sidebar.
- Another store keeps its own menu (or the default).
- I can disable / reset to restore the standard menu.
- When I expand the sidebar, only one group (my page’s) stays open.
