Online order settings
Menu Website Settings → Online order settings (e.g. /ds/online-order-settings).
Visible only if the Online orders module (OnlineOrders) is active.
One set of settings per store (business service point) — not for Master.
These settings drive the storefront checkout (lead times, delivery, out of zone) and, for relevant stores, service booking + the scheduled order option on POS invoices.
See also: Online orders · Company parameters (postal code = distance origin).
General activation
| Parameter | Role |
|---|---|
| Online ordering enabled | If disabled: the store no longer accepts web orders (checkout / API settings). |
| Scheduled order on invoice (POS) | If enabled: the “Scheduled order” section appears when creating an invoice at the till for this store. |
Minimum lead time
| Parameter | Role |
|---|---|
| Minimum lead time (business days) | Minimum number of business days between today and the delivery / pickup date offered to the client (0–30). E.g. 2 = no delivery “for tomorrow” if tomorrow is not far enough in business days. |
Service booking
Service booking section — deposit, calendar horizon, and time slots for bookable services on the site (e.g. appointments with a time slot).
| Parameter | Role |
|---|---|
| Deposit on booking (%) | Percentage of the service amount payable at order (0 = no deposit). The balance remains due on the day of the service. Default: 20. |
| Calendar horizon (days) | How many business days ahead the client can pick a date (30–365). Default: 90. |
| Time slots | List of slots offered at checkout (up to 12): |
For each slot:
| Field | Role |
|---|---|
| Start / End | Slot hours (e.g. 09:00 – 12:00) |
| Label (FR) / Label (EN) | Text shown to the client |
Delivery — fee tiers
Delivery fee tiers section.
| Element | Role |
|---|---|
| Calculation origin | Store company postal code (Company parameters). Without a postal code, distances cannot be calculated. |
| Tiers | Each row = a maximum radius (km) + delivery fee ($). Road distance is calculated from the company postal code (Google Maps or OSRM). |
Rules:
- At least one tier if you deliver.
- Each radius only once, in ascending order.
- Fees ≥ 0.
- The store’s effective max radius = the largest radius among the tiers.
Typical chocolate shop example: 10 km → $12 · 30 km → $18 · 50 km → $25 · 100 km → $35.
Out of zone
If the client’s address exceeds the maximum radius of the tiers:
| Parameter | Role |
|---|---|
| Out-of-zone phone | Number shown to contact the store (often prefilled with the company phone). |
| Out-of-zone message (FR) / (EN) | Text shown on checkout. Default: state that the address is out of zone and to call for a solution. |
What is not here
| Topic | Where to set it |
|---|---|
| Enable / disable the storefront Checkout menu page | Sections and pages (page_checkout) — depending on the front, the key may not gate the flow |
| List / tracking of received orders | Online orders |
| Stripe / PayPal | Store payment settings |
| Store address / postal code | Company parameters |
| Agenda appointments (treatments / staff slots) | Booking settings (appointment module — distinct from checkout service booking) |
Edit as you like
- Open Online order settings for the right store.
- Adjust activation, lead time, services, delivery tiers, out-of-zone messages.
- Save → test a checkout (address in / out of zone, date, service slot if applicable).
Success criteria
- I know how to enable / cut web orders for the store.
- The minimum lead time (business days) matches what checkout offers.
- The km / $ tiers and company postal code produce the right fees.
- Out of zone: correct message + phone.
- (If bookable services) deposit, horizon, and time slots are consistent on the site.
- (If needed for POS) scheduled order appears on the invoice.
