Campaigns
Menu Marketing → Campaigns.
A campaign sends marketing emails to a chosen audience, with a predefined template, an immediate or scheduled send, and tracking. Unsubscribe is respected.
Audience: clients and newsletter
On the campaign record, Audience section, enable one or two sources:
| Choice | Content |
|---|---|
| Clients who accepted marketing | Store clients with email and marketing consent |
| Newsletter subscribers | Sign-ups via the website (list) |
The screen shows an estimate of the number of recipients. Deduplication: the same address receives only one message, even if it is both a client and a subscriber.
See also the overview: Marketing.
Predefined email templates
Section Email templates (FR + EN): choose a marketing template already created in Email templates (key of the type “Marketing — …”).
- FR template and EN template are required.
- Each recipient gets the version according to their language (client record); subscribers without a client use the campaign’s fallback language.
You can also add a promotional link (service, product, promo, gift certificate or URL) injected into the message on send.
Send a test
Send a test action: preview to an address of your choice (often yours), in FR or EN version.
- Does not consume the daily quota.
- Does not add a recipient to the real campaign.
Useful to validate the render before a real send.
Schedule or send now
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Scheduled send start + Schedule | The campaign becomes Scheduled and starts automatically at the recorded date/time |
| Send now | Immediate queue; background send in batches |
You indicate how many emails to send for this batch (within the day’s remaining quota). If the audience is larger than the batch / quota, the campaign may go to pause: you continue later with Send next batch (or resume the next day), only for those who have not yet received the message.
In a test environment, sends may be redirected to a fallback address.
Recipient list after send
After sends start, the campaign keeps the list of people (emails) who received this campaign’s email.
| Where | Typical content |
|---|---|
| Emails sent action | Preview of addresses already sent |
| Recipients tab / section | Detailed list: email, type (client or newsletter subscriber), status, send date |
You can thus check who received this campaign’s marketing message (and distinguish clients / subscribers).
Completed campaign and duplication
When all chosen recipients have been processed (sent / finished for this audience), the campaign is Completed: it is closed for a new send on that same record.
To redo a similar send: Duplicate. This creates a draft (content / audience / templates reused, counters and send dates reset) to quickly set up a new campaign.
Recommended limits (email server load)
To avoid overloading the send server / provider, EliaFlow limits campaigns via Marketing settings:
| Setting | Role | Typical default order of magnitude |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum emails per day | Cap per store and per day | e.g. 3000 |
| Send batch size | Number of emails processed per technical background batch | e.g. 50 (max 200) |
On the campaign record, the daily quota (sent / max) and remaining today are visible. Respect these caps: better several batches / days than one massive send at once.
Success criteria
- I tick clients and/or newsletter subscribers and see the audience estimate.
- I choose the predefined FR and EN templates.
- I send a test without touching the quota.
- I schedule a date or use Send now.
- After send, I consult the list of emails / recipients who received the campaign.
- A fully sent campaign is Completed; I can duplicate it.
- I know the quota / batch size in marketing settings.
